Over the years we’ve connected thousands of young adventurers with the amazing rivers in Squamish’s Sea to Sky Corridor between Vancouver and Whistler.

There’s something about a rafting trip that every adventurer, young and old, looks forward to. For most, it’s the opportunity to stretch your boundaries, get out of your comfort zone, and surround yourself with the natural beauty that is British Columbia.

Take your youth group on a spectacular youth group rafting trip with Canadian Outback Rafting. Our white water rafting trips are a fantastic memorable day out for Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, ESL students, and those in the Duke of Edinburgh Award program.

“We took our 5 year old son on the family float trip down the Cheakamus Splash which was fantastic. The guides were knowledgeable, engaging and fun. It was a great day on the river and I highly recommend to anyone wanting a great kid friendly adventure in beautiful Squamish!” ~ campingCJ

The child-friendly Cheakamus Splash rafting trip is a half-day fun rafting trip that features small splashy rapids, outstanding scenery and lots of laughs. It’s an ideal outdoor activity for younger youth groups looking for an adventurous activity.

As you raft down the glacier-fed Cheakamus River between old growth forests, you’ll experience the excitement of gentle rapids and see a variety of birds, wildlife, waterfalls, and the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains in British Columbia. At the same time you’ll learn about the intriguing Squamish First Nations history, a key part of the history of the area.

Of course anytime kids get around water, you know there will be a water fight! Perfect the art of splashing others (you never know when the Splash Monster will rise out of the river!), and get a chance to cool off with a quick dip in the pure, glacier-fed, jade-tinted water.

This year get out on the river … the Cheakamus Splash is a ton of fun for everyone in your group!

“Did the Cheakamus Splash this past weekend and was blown away! Our guide was very professional and kept us laughing the whole time. We all enjoyed a few exciting rapids, a nice swim and breathtaking scenery. It’s an awesome adventure.” ~ expatmom2015

Wet & Wild Elaho Exhilarator (Ages 13+)

Prices, Dates & Times

April 20 – September 29, 2019

Adults (17+) $129.99
Youth (13-16) $109.99

The Wet & Wild Elaho Exhilarator rafting trip is our most popular teen youth group rafting trip, and for good reason.

Our talented team of professional river guides will teach you the skills necessary to ride big waves and catch air as you navigate down the Class 3-4 Elaho and Squamish Rivers. Your courage will be tested as you travel through the infamous “Devil’s Elbow” section of the rapids, as seen on TV’s famous Eco-Challenge Adventure Race. Depending on the water levels, you’ll also be able to swim through some small rapids, “ride the bull”, and enjoy a few laughs as your buddies scramble to stay on board.

Along with some of North America’s most exhilarating rapids, your river journey will take you through approximately 16 kms of British Columbia’s most inspiring wilderness. Take time to appreciate your surroundings and enjoy the world-class scenery including old growth forests, dormant volcanoes, towering glaciers, and stunning waterfalls that cascade hundreds of feet toward the river. If you’re really lucky you’ll get a glimpse of the local deer, beavers and bears which often stop by the river’s edge.

This is white water rafting at its best!

“The Elaho Exhilarator trip was perfect. The guides were very well organized and efficient, but without rushing their guests. The rafting trip itself was just the right length — not too long, not too short. Highly recommended.” ~ ScottF702
