Corporate Raft Trips

Getting out of your comfort zone to conquer a whitewater challenge TOGETHER … there is no better way to team build than a day out together for a staff rafting trip on our amazing rivers. And with 3 great corporate rafting trips to choose from, there’s a river adventure perfect for your team.

“Thank you for the wonderful whitewater rafting trip! It would seem that everyone, myself included, walked away VERY satisfied. There’s talk that they want to do this again, I think you’ll be seeing us back soon. One of my co-workers told me that this “was the most fun he’d ever had on a company outing”. That pretty much says it all. You guys rock!” ~ PSI Fluid Power

A staff rafting trip is the ultimate teambuilder

Whitewater rafting with us continues to be a top choice for staff teams based in Vancouver, and for corporate groups from around the world visiting Vancouver and Whistler on an incentive trip.  And for good reason. Canadian Outback Rafting’s corporate rafting trips combine your desire to bond together as a team with spectacular Super Natural BC scenery.

Magic happens when you’re out on the river together. On our whitewater trips, first comes nervousness … “What have you gotten us into?” Camaraderie then builds as your bus pulls up to the put-in. “Team, there’s a challenge ahead and we need to take it on together as one”. Then it’s straight into battle against the Devil’s Elbow. Within minutes your team will be tighter than ever, paddling in perfect synchronicity to take on every challenge that comes your way … “We can do anything when we work together!”

Finish up your amazing day with a great meal back at our rafting base, toast your team high up in the mountains at the Sea To Sky Gondola, or head back to the city or Whistler for an amazing dinner together. Your people will walk back into the office totally engaged and ready to conquer anything that comes their way.

“The crew and the experience were unbelievable. I brought my staff on this trip for a staff party a week ago…. they are still talking about it!!!!! Thanks Canadian Outback Rafting, Graham and the rest of the crew. You bet we will be doing this again next year!!!” ~ Stonesedge Whistler

Wet & Wild Elaho Exhilarator

The Wet & Wild Elaho Exhilarator rafting trip is one of our most popular staff rafting adventures, and for good reason. It’s the PERFECT staff team building day.

Our talented team of professional river guides will teach you the skills necessary to ride big waves and catch air as you navigate down the Class 3-4 Elaho and Squamish Rivers. Your courage will be tested as you travel through the infamous “Devil’s Elbow” section of the rapids, as seen on TV’s famous Eco-Challenge Adventure Race. Depending on the water levels, you’ll also be able to swim through some small rapids and enjoy a few laughs as your crewmates scramble to stay on board.

Along with some of North America’s most exhilarating rapids, your river journey will take you through 16 kms of British Columbia’s most inspiring wilderness. Take time to appreciate your surroundings and enjoy the world-class scenery including old growth forests, dormant volcanoes, towering glaciers, and stunning waterfalls that cascade hundreds of feet toward the river. If you’re really lucky you’ll get a glimpse of the local deer, beavers and bears which often stop by the river’s edge.

Anyone can participate in this rafting trip and no prior rafting experience is required.

This is white water rafting at its best!

“The Elaho Exhilarator trip was perfect. The guides were very well organized and efficient, but without rushing their guests. The rafting trip itself was just the right length — not too long, not too short. Highly recommended.”~ ScottF702

“24 hours of a howling good time shooting Class 3-4 rapids, breathtaking scenery, and top notch guiding by knowledgeable experts” ~ chique-chique

On the first day we’ll challenge the exhilarating rapids of the Elaho River, the same route conquered by those participating on our popular Wet & Wild Elaho Exhilarator white water rafting trip. Our talented team of professional river guides will teach you the skills necessary to maneuver through these exciting Class 3-4 rapids including the challenging “Devil’s Elbow” section, used for Mark Burnett’s world famous Eco-Challenge Adventure Race.

At the end of the Elaho Exhilarator route, we’ll continue our journey for a few more miles down the river until we reach our remote wilderness camp area. All your supplies for the overnighter will be packed tightly on our rafts. As you climb off the rafts and onto the sandy beach, you’ll be greeted by smiling camp staff with a filling spread of hors d’oeuvres. While you change into your camp attire, your guides will prepare you a delicious three course meal. Then all you’ve got to do is relax by the fire and absorb the stunning views of the region. As the night ends, the expression “getting away from it all” will come to mind as millions of stars light up the sky! For big city folk, it doesn’t get much better than this.

“We slept between the mountains, trees and glaciers and fell asleep while looking at the beautiful sky filled with stars. I’d like to thank the entire crew and especially Jean for a trip that I will never forget!” ~ Inge-k1993

The next morning, wake to the sound of the river, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a delicious breakfast. Your second river day will be spent floating down the calm waters of the Squamish River, a much more gentle and serene river. The spectacular sights this river valley has to offer will allow you to enjoy old growth forests, glaciers, dormant volcanoes, waterfalls, and a wide variety of wildlife, scenery that you’ll see in very few other regions.

Following your rafting trip we’ll take you back to our fully-equipped rafting base at the Executive Suites Hotel & Resort where you’ll be able to change back into your own clothes and enjoy the facilities at the resort including a full service restaurant and outdoor patio area. Relax with your colleagues in the beautiful sunshine and comfort of the resort.

“Fantastic way to spend a weekend outdoors!” ~ Aleida222

“We did the two day rafting trip. First day gave us plenty of adrenaline rush and, yes, the water is freezingly cold. Spending the night in the outdoors was great. They took care of everything. Second day trip was milder but even more beautiful than the first day. Guides are experts and extremely friendly. You could not choose a better outfit than Canadian Outback.” ~ Bonnie L

“Mountains, trees, waterfalls, glaciers and lots of fun!” ~ Inge-k1993
I did the overnight rafting trip and it was amazing!! The rafting was exciting, especially with Jean as a guide as he lead us to all the fun parts of the river. We slept between the mountains, trees and glaciers and fell asleep while looking at the beautiful sky filled with stars. I’d like to thank the entire crew and especially Jean for a trip that I will never forget!

“So much fun!” ~ chique-chique
Just returned from the overnight white water rafting trip on the Elaho and Squamish Rivers with Canadian Outback Rafting. The company calls it a 2 day trip but it’s really 24 hours — 24 hours of a howling good time shooting Class 3-4 rapids, breathtaking scenery, and topnotch guiding by knowledgeable experts like Will who, in addition to keeping you safe, amplifies your experience with old Squamish legends and explanations of the geological formations around you. Can’t say enough about all the staff who are huge fun, but take seriously good care of all their guests, the salmon and steak dinner and 4 course breakfast being just two examples. My fellow guests ranged in age from 14-70, so it’s eminently suitable for first timers but thrilling enough to satisfy experienced rafters.

“Fantastic way to spend a weekend outdoors!” ~ Aleida222
The guides were outstanding– fun, knowledgeable, they were dedicated to making this experience a safe but memorable one. The meals on the overnight trip were wonderful– always enough food. The rapids themselves were more class 3– allowed for a fun not freaky trip. Wonderful experience overall!

“Squamish Staycation” ~ Lindsay M
As I am from Squamish myself and go on a lot of wilderness adventures, I wouldn’t have normally gone on this local rafting trip. However, my mom from the island wanted to visit and do something new so we booked for the 2 day trip.

Even though I have seen a lot of Squamish’s surrounding mountains, lakes, rivers and trails this experience was equally as memorable and twice as fun! I realized that I chose to live in Squamish for its outdoor recreational qualities so why go on vacation elsewhere when our backyard is so epic!

The trip was very relaxing with an overnight on a sandy island with gourmet food provided. The guides were extremely hardworking, inclusive, worked together well and always had smiles on their faces. They were also great at facilitating ice breaking between all rafters using the “You are more likely to save someone you know” tactic ;).

Our guide had a great sense of our boat members’ varying abilities and comfort levels. Although we were able to sit back and relax at times, we also learned paddling techniques and rescue skills. I was surprised that the rapids were more intense than I thought they would be.

This trip made me reconsider traveling elsewhere and to book more with the local tourism industry. Glad to meet some fellow local adventure seekers. I am super glad I went on this trip. Thanks for the experience Canadian Outback Rafting Guides!

Family-Friendly Cheakamus Splash

The Family-Friendly Cheakamus Splash features calmer “splashy” rapids and is great for corporate groups who want to offer the option of something a little more mellow and relaxing that also highlights the beauty of nature.

A really popular option is to split your larger group up into two groups. Those who want the big water thrills on the Elaho Exhilarator can go do that trip, while those wanting a softer adventure (including younger kids) can come out on the Cheakamus Splash.

As you raft down the glacier-fed Cheakamus River between old growth forests, you’ll experience the excitement of gentle rapids and see a variety of birds, wildlife, waterfalls, and the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains in British Columbia. At the same time you’ll learn about the intriguing Squamish First Nations history, a key part of the history of the area.

It’s an awesome way to spend time together as a team.

“We took our 5 year old son on the family float trip down the Cheakamus Splash which was fantastic. The guides were knowledgeable, engaging and fun. It was a great day on the river and I highly recommend to anyone wanting a great kid friendly adventure in beautiful Squamish!” ~ campingCJ
